Be Like Her

A Journey Through the Stories of Women Who Chose Faith

There are seasons in life when I find myself longing for quiet strength. Not the loud kind. Not the kind that demands attention. But the kind that whispers through everyday choices — the kind that keeps going even when the heart feels tired, unsure, or afraid.

That’s how my “Be Like Her” series was born.

This series is my small way of sitting at the feet of the women in the Bible — listening to their stories again, not through perfection, but through humanity. Through their doubts, their waiting, their obedience, their courage, their brokenness, and their deep trust in God even when nothing made sense.

These women were not flawless.

They were faithful.

And sometimes, that’s even harder.

Every week in this series, I reflect on different women in Scripture — women who faced uncertainty, loss, fear, rejection, infertility, leadership challenges, grief, and calling. Women who questioned. Women who waited. Women who stood when it would’ve been easier to sit down and disappear. And in their stories, I often see pieces of myself… and maybe pieces of you too.

“Be like her” doesn’t mean copy their lives.

It means learn from their faith.

It means allowing their quiet strength to gently shape our own.

This series isn’t meant to be heavy.

It’s meant to be honest, reflective, and encouraging — a soft place to land in the middle of busy lives and weary hearts. Each reflection is paired with a prayer, because sometimes words alone aren’t enough… sometimes we need to place it all back into God’s hands.

Whether you read quietly, share with a friend, or simply scroll through on a hard day — my hope is that these stories remind you of this simple truth:

God still uses ordinary women.

God still works through willing hearts.

God still meets us right where we are.

And sometimes, becoming “like her” simply means choosing faith again… one small step at a time.

Until next time,
