You Don’t Have to Carry It Forever.
Just because someone projected their hurt onto you doesn’t mean you have to carry it the rest of your life.
Sometimes pain passes through people like a storm that doesn’t know where to land. It finds the closest heart—often the kindest one—and pours itself there. And before you know it, you’re carrying weight that was never yours to begin with.
But you are not what they did to you.
You are not the reflection of their anger, their bitterness, or their brokenness. You are a soul that simply got caught in the rain of someone else’s wounds.
Healing begins when you realize you don’t have to keep holding what hurt you. You don’t have to replay their words or relive their actions to make sense of them. Some things are not meant to be understood—only released.
Letting go doesn’t mean pretending it didn’t hurt. It means choosing peace over poison. It means handing the pain back to God and saying, “This isn’t mine to carry anymore.”
And in time, you’ll see how light your soul feels when you stop owning what was never yours. You’ll walk freer, softer—no longer shadowed by someone else’s storm.
Because the truth is…
You were never meant to carry every wound that found you.
You were meant to heal, to rise, and to keep shining through it.
Until next time,
