Soul Keeping

If you are to look for the definition of soul, I am sure you will see quite a few different interpretations, well, according to what you are referring to.

For this post, I’d like to think that soul is seen as the core of a person’s being, including their thoughts, feelings, and moral nature.

Do you think there is a simple way to shield our souls?

I read somewhere that “kindness” is like a soul insurance for whatever we give out to the world finds its way back not just to us, but to others as well.

Ain’t this the truth?

Kindness can start an unending ripple that could bridge our differences, whatever that may be.

Smile and you’ll get it back.

Holding the door for the next person and so is the next one for the others.

Kindness has a way of turning a bad day into a good one.

When we are kind in the way we talk to someone or respond to another, that kindness will be reflected back to us.

Anger attracts anger.  Always.

Whatever we look for, we will find. If all we see are things to complain about and what’s wrong with others, that’s all we’re going to see.

Life is a reflection of what we give out and what we focus on daily.

These things…are soul ailing.

But,

Kindness , even if we start small, will change us, our lives, and those around us in big ways.

But kindness is more than just being friendly, generous, and considerate, especially only to those people we like.

Kindness is humility when ego is calling.

Kindness is silence when everyone else is loud.

Kindness is helping someone when no one else will.

Kindness is acknowledging I am also a “contributor,” not just the victim.

Kindness calls for emotional maturity.

Kindness needs big hearts.

Kindness requires self-control.

Kindness listens.

Kindness starts a ripple.

What we give, we get back.

Remember? Our soul is the core of our being, of our thoughts, feelings, and morals. We are a reflection of our souls.

So, would you rather be remembered as someone with a good soul or a wicked soul?

The choice is yours.

Until next time,
