Oxford dictionary defines brave as ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage.
But is that really all there is to being brave?
If I am to define brave, I don’t think I can in just one sentence.
I think bravery is more than just what Oxford dictionary is saying.
Bravery is a whole lot of complicated things. Big things, small things, unspoken things, unseen things and unknown things.
Bravery is speaking your truth. In your own words. Even if it’s painful. Even if it’s difficult. Even if it’s ugly.

Bravery is speaking up for what you believe in.
Bravery is fighting against the norm of “fitting in.”
Bravery is living a life dictated by you, not by someone else’s idea of what and how it should be.
Bravery is facing each day with hope and love and kindness.

What about you, what is brave to you?
Until next time,
